This technique is also used as a foundation for many other shots around the green. Using the bounce is a great technique to have when chipping around the greens. This is the advanced version, this version allows you to hit higher shots and generate more spin but is much more difficult to be consistent with compared to the beginner version.

Bump & Run
The bump & run is a great shot to have around the greens. This is the most consistent shot you can hit around the green. For this shot you make a small swing, the ball flys a short distance, then rolls the rest of the way to the hole.
